My Writer Journey as a Children's Book Author

In today’s blog post, I’ll share my writer journey as a children’s book author to the aspiring authors out there. I’ll also share my brother’s book at the end of this post.

A Tool for Parents

As a children’s book author, my goal is to partner with parents. Raising children who are responsible and free from entitlement is no small task, and I want my stories to be a resource that makes it easier. Each book that I write includes powerful lessons for parents to teach their young kids and how they can apply them to everyday life. Whether it’s a bedtime story that prompts a chat about forgiveness or a classroom read-aloud that sparks a lesson on sharing, my books will be a springboard for meaningful moments.

Why I Chose Children’s Books?

Children’s books have a unique power. They’re a gateway to shaping young minds, planting seeds of character that can grow into lifelong values. I’ve always believed that teaching children manners and proper behavior isn’t just about rules—it’s about helping them understand the beauty of kindness, respect, and humility. Through storytelling, I can weave these lessons into adventures that children love, making learning feel like a joyful journey rather than a lecture.

I want my books to be a bridge between parents and their children, offering stories that spark meaningful conversations about faith, accountability, and gratitude. In a culture where entitlement can creep into young hearts, I want to create characters who model the opposite—children who take responsibility for their actions, show respect to others, and trust in God’s (Yahweh’s) guidance.

The Heart of My Stories

My vision is to write stories that blend whimsy and wisdom. Picture a curious squirrel who learns that saying “please” and “thank you” opens doors to new friendships, or a brave little lantern who discovers that owning up to mistakes makes its light shine even brighter. These characters will face challenges that mirror the ones children encounter in their own lives—moments where they must choose kindness over selfishness, honesty over excuses, or faith over fear.

Each story will carry a subtle but powerful message about living a Yahweh-fearing life. I want children to see that true strength comes from humility, that accountability builds trust, and that gratitude transforms their perspective. For parents, my books will be a gentle ally, offering narratives that reinforce the values they’re working to instill at home.

My Promise as a Book Author

I’m pouring my heart into this endeavor because I believe stories can change lives. My books will be crafted with love, creativity, and a deep commitment to teaching children the values that matter most. I want every page to reflect the joy of learning, the warmth of faith, and the power of good manners. Above all, I want to help parents raise children who grow up to be kind, accountable, and anchored in Yahweh’s truth. Preview some books with this theme by clicking here, here, and here. TY!
